Shrub End :  Barnardo's Children's Centre at Shrub End are pleased to confirm that services and groups are running from the Colchester United Community and Sports Trust building again as normal.

Welcome to Colchester Children's Centres.  We offer a range of services to families with children aged 5 years and under.

The Centres are managed by Barnardos, working in partnership with Essex County Council, families and communities. The centre's are based in Myland, Lexden, Winstree Road, Greenstead, St Anne's and Castle, Berechurch, Highwoods, New Town, Shrub End and a centre in Birch serving rural areas.

Families will find information and support available in each centre and the opportunity to talk to staff leading the groups and activities. There are opportunities for families to meet at drop ins and sessions with rhymes and singing, crafts and physical play. There is information about Job Centre Plus, pre-schools and Childminders network at each centre.
